#01) - Filmmakers are NOT permitted to use footage shot prior to the kickoff date each team will be required to follow all the rules

                        and use all the props and themes given at kickoff.  (This requirement could throw a wrench in your preconceived concept so look out)

 

                        #02) ­- Each team will be required to obtain a document releasing the rights to both their song as well as each actor and location that

                        they use.

 

                        #03) - Videos cannot contain nudity or scenes of graphic violence i.e.: Guts, decapitation, disembowelment, etc.  (Blood will be allowed

                        but try to be tasteful as you will be judged accordingly)

 

                        #04) - All teams must submit their music videos by the following Saturday July 18th by7:30 PM to be considered for judging.  Absolutely

                        no videos will be accepted or shown at public screening after this point. (You have seven days plain and simple)

 

                        #05) - All paperwork must be submitted at the time of turn in. (Get it early.  Get it out of the way.)

 

#06) - Teams who wish to enter but cannot make it to the kickoff ceremony must register by 8:00PM Sunday July 12th in order to be

considered for competition. (You may call (417) 224-0673 to set up a meeting.)

 

#07) - Every team that enters will be required to have at least one delegate at the actual screenings at the Moxie Cinema.  This screening

is included for free in your entry fee. (One delegate is required as only the teams will be judging the videos.  If you do not provide at least

one delegate your film will forfeit all judging. This seems harsh but is necessary for the most democratic judging possible.  Each team will

                        be given a ballot and will judge all other videos except their own.)

 

#08) - Song lyrics are permitted to contain violent imagery and profanity however, consider the marketability of your video.  These things

may interest you but may restrict your marketing options.

 

#09) - All videos submitted must also contain all releases to allow the video to be published and made public by “The Rock On Music

Video Competition”.

 

                        #10) – A representative from each team must also attend the awards ceremony to be eligible to accept awards. (Admission is also

                        included in your entry fee)
